It is being presented by Macallan Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell and was laid down decades ago in The Macallan’s “hand-picked oak casks”. The 50 year old is described as exemplifying “the unrivalled commitment to the mastery of wood and spirit for which The Macallan has been known”. For the lucky guys who can afford it, it’ll be presented in a solid oak box, featuring an etched face inlaid. This collection celebrates the rich range of reds present naturally in every step of our process”. Macallan 50, available in early April, is bottled at 44 percent ABV, or 88 proof.
